Tool Design — Specialist toolmakers create a die based on the customer's technical drawing or sample.
Compound Selection — Raw rubber (100% virgin preferred over recycled for superior elasticity and low odor) is compounded with additives (carbon black, vulcanizing agents, UV stabilizers, etc.).
Extrusion — The compound is forced through the die under controlled temperature and pressure, forming a continuous profile.
Vulcanization (Curing) — The extrudate passes through a salt bath or hot-air tunnel (~200°C) to cross-link the rubber and achieve its final mechanical properties.
Post-Processing (Optional) — Cutting to length, hot-vulcanized splicing into frames/rings, applying self-adhesive backing, or punching holes.
